2 percent Medicare physician services cut to go into effect April 1

March 29, 2013

On Monday, April 1, 2013, all Medicare physician services will be subject to a 2 percent payment cut under the budget sequestration.  As of now, the sequester will be in effect for nine years, unless Congress and the White House are able to reach a significant deficit reduction agreement that replaces it.

It is encouraged to take a look and voice your opinions on how the sequester has affected physician practices or health programs in order to show Congress real life examples of the effects.
